JAMES BOND star Jeffrey Wright has teased his return as CIA agent Felix Leiter in the next 007 movie.
The 51-year-old Westworld star has played the American spy opposite Daniel Craig in two James Bond movies.
While he missed out on Skyfall and Spectre, could Felix be about to team up with 007 once again?
Wright took to social media and posted a picture of the character he last played in 2008’s Quantum of Solace
He wrote: “Eh, who’s that brother? #007.”
While Wright could be just alluding back to his character, it does make fan alarm bells ring just a week after news that Craig is pretty much convinced to return.
The actor first played Felix in Craig’s debut as Bond, 2006’s Casino Royale.
After playing cards with 007 in a few key scenes he returned for the film’s direct sequel – Quantum of Solace.
However the CIA didn’t manage to fit into the plot of the last two outings from the current Bond.
While fans wait for an official announcement on Craig’s, and possibly Wright’s return, what has been confirmed is that the script is underway.
Veteran Bond screenwriters Neil Purvis and Robert Wade return, while MGM are currently planning to start shooting in Croatia later this year.
